This special intake under the Capital Infrastructure and Investments (CII) Program supports Large Capital Equipment projects with a minimum project value of $1.0 million.

Featuring up to 10 years of historical data, the dashboards allow users to explore cattle, hog and crop market trends, track prices and sales volumes, and monitor changing market conditions to support informed decision-making.

As harvest approaches, keep an eye out for waterhemp, a noxious weed of increasing concern in Manitoba. Mature plants often extend above crop canopies, making them easier to spot. Farm and Food Awareness Week (FFAW) runs Sept. 20 to 25, 2026, celebrating Manitoba’s farms, food and producers. Since 2015, FFAW has highlighted the diversity of local food production and its importance to our economy. This year’s theme is Community and Agriculture: Growing Together.

The week begins Sunday, Sept. 20 with Discover Agriculture on the Farm at the Bruce D. Campbell Farm & Food Discovery Centre (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.). This free, family-friendly open house features farm animals, conversations with local farmers, activities, and prizes. Throughout the week, you can show how agriculture and communities grow together by sharing photos of local food, farms, and agricultural experiences using #FarmFoodAwarenessWeek. Need ideas?
